India & Russia Sign 30 Deals On Defence And Civil Nuclear Cooperation  

India and Russia signed 30 deals on defence and civil nuclear cooperation on Tuesday. The two countries also discussed about Pakistan and Afghanistan situation in the two-hour long meeting.

The meeting between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev also talked about the Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft (FGFA) development which would help strengthen the military capabilities of the country.
Apart from discussions on how to improve cooperation in energy sector, military, space research, science and technology and pharmaceuticals, the two countries also decided to work on to attain the bilateral trade target of USD 20 billion within 2015.
