What is Good About Good Friday?  

Across the centuries, Christians have filled the emptiness of Jesus’ defeat on the cross with hope and his death with new life. Christians affirmed that Jesus, who once identified himself as “the way, and the truth and the life,”(John. 14:6) continued to offer his love, a love that held onto humanity even in the face of betrayal, humiliation, suffering, and death.
This love extended to those who betrayed him, to his antagonists, to those who crucified him. The love Jesus rendered on the day of his death extended to all humanity, for all times.
