Students are gathered in the gym as flames have surrounded the building.

The official college website says that no one has been hurt till now.

Updates are being posted on college website till now,but they say they are running on UPS which may not lost for more than 4 hours,there may be no further updates will be coming from Westmont College website after that.

The latest update from College website:

” A natural gas line has broken, forcing the fire department to shut off natural gas to the college. This has brought down our generators. We have between 1/2 hour and 4 hours of UPS left, so may not be able to post further updates through the web site.”
Students inside the Gym may be moved to Red Cross shelter nearby: “Conditions in the area may make it possible now to leave the campus for a Red Cross shelter, but that option is still being explored.”
