Team Bangalore Seven new faces for Royal Challengers in IPL 2009  

Former India bowler Tinu Yohannan and Uttar Pradesh pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar are all set for their Indian Premier League (IPL) with Team Bangalore .

Besides the Kerala pacer and the UP lad, the new faces likely to make it to Vijay Mallya's team are Karnataka teenager Manish Pandey and Goa all-rounder Saurabh Bandekar.

The quartet will join Gaurav Dhiman, who moved from Team Mumbai along with Robin Uthappa (the latter was a swap for pacer Zaheer Khan).

Team Bangalore has also signed Team Rajasthan pacer Pankaj Singh, taking the total number of new signings for the season to seven. With the team management entitled to honour their contractual obligations, a point that coach Ray Jennings stressed upon the other day, most of the players from the Karnataka pool who represented the side last time around are set for a second appearance in the T20 league.


Kevin Pietersen is likely to captain Bangalore Royal Challengers for the first three weeks of this IPL season for which he is available. Pietersen will then hand over the leadership to Rahul Dravid or Mark Boucher, a team source said
