Autopsy on Y S Rajasekhara Reddy''s body conducted

Kurnool (AP), Sep 3 (PTI) The post-mortem on the body of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who was killed in a helicopter crash, was conducted here today. The bodies of Reddy and four others who were also killed when their helicopter crashed and exploded on a hill in the Nallamala forest ranges yesterday, were brought by air to the Andhra Pradesh Special Police (APSP) second battalion compound here.

Later, the post-mortem was conducted in a helicopter. The autopsy was conducted by a team of doctors led by Dr M S R K Prsad, Superintendent of Government General Hospital in Kurnool.

The post-mortem on the bodies of four others -- Principal Secretary P Subrahmanyam, Chief Security Officer ASC Wesley, Pilot S K Bhatia and co-pilot M S Reddy -- were also conducted.
