Chennai court ordered status quo for UNNAI POL ORUVAN

With the entire town  getting ready for the release of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’, the actor seems to be drenched in troublesome moment. It is all about Chennai High Court ordering status quo on a petition by Pyramid Saimira Productions International Ltd.  seeking to hold down the release of ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ in both Tamil and Telugu.
According to the statement of Pyramid Saimira, they had mentioned that Kamal Haasan had received a token advance of Rs.10 Crore for the multilingual project ‘Marmayogi’ produced at a budget of Rs.100 crores. But soon as the project was shelved, he didn’t return the advance amount and diverted those funds to his upcoming production, ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’.After heeding to the petitions, Justice G Rajasuria ordered status quo till September 16 and Kamal Haasan has to answer back to the situation, or else he would face a serious problem of getting his film released.
