Family of man found with Aarushi's mobile says he is innocent

A day after the Delhi Police claimed to have recovered the missing mobile phone of murdered teenager Aarushi, the family of the man from whom it was recovered said he was innocent and not involved in any crime.
Ramphool, from whom the mobile was recovered, is "innocent" and had no clue that the set was related to the murder, his sister Santosh said.
"He kept it for one month and then switched it on," she said.
Santosh said her sister Kusum found the mobile phone lying in a park, picked it up and came home. She kept it for two months and when no one came looking for it, she gave it to Ramphool.
She said police threatened Ramphool and took him away. He was detained after the Special Operations Squad of Delhi Police's Crime Branch tracked Aarushi's missing mobile to Bulandshahr.
They have handed the phone to CBI which is investigating the murder of 16-year-old Aarushi in her Noida home on May 15 last year. The family's domestic help Hemraj, initially suspected of the crime, was later found dead on the roof-top.
