Gopinath Munde stopped to visit Sangli  




Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party leader Gopinath Munde today has been stopped to visit trouble torn Sangali where curfew was clamped after the trouble began. Miraj Dangal is still continued, a source said.

According to a report, Munde was stopped from boarding the Sangli bound plane and was interrogated at an airport here.

As this news trickled in, hundreds of his supporters gathered outside the airport and started shouting anti-administration slogans.

It is noteworthy that the police detained about 150 members of Hindu organisations and political parties from various places.

The police took action after as many as 10 buses of both Kolhapur Municipal Transport (KMT) and State Road Transport Corporaton were damaged during the bandh on Sunday.

The Bandh was jointly called by Hindu orgainsations and political parties.
