Harbhajan courts more controversy after camera punch

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Indian bowler Harbhajan Singh spun into fresh controversy on Wednesday after angrily punching a hand-held television camera after the cameraman brushed against him while filming.
Indian television channels showed 29-year-old Harbhajan, the central figure in two on-pitch rows in the last two years, hit the camera after the cameraman pushed forward while the player was retrieving luggage from a car at Bangalore airport.
India's second most successful bowler has often come under the spotlight for the wrong reasons.
Last year he was initially found guilty of racially abusing Australian all rounder Andrew Symonds before the charge was downgraded on appeal to using abusive language. A few months later he was suspended for slapping bowlerShanthakumaran Sreesanth during a domestic Twenty20 league match.
There was no comment from the cricket board or Harbhajan, who was on his way to Sri Lanka for a one-day series.
