Old building on fire in Poonch  

Poonch (J-K), Sep 7 (ANI): Property worth millions was destroyed in a fire, which broke out in an old building and later engulfed adjoining houses in Bhla Poorian village in Poonch district.

According to the villagers, the fire broke out in an old wooden house due to shot circuit and fanned by wind and dry grass engulfed other houses as well.

Fire tenders took reportedly over two hours to reach the spot during when the raging flames had spread to the entire locality.

"There has been a delay by the fire brigades reaching the spot on time. One vehicle came from police station another from Mandi and by the time they reach the fire has spread," said Javed Kataria, station house officer, Sawjain sector of Poonch. (ANI)
