Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, "Bharti was a surprise actually that deal was called off and Bharti responded positively and then they said we are going to have another deal. The market cannot withstand day after day of adverse news, adverse according to the market. But at some point even Bharti will stop falling."

 He further added, "I personally feel that Idea has an excellent chart and the dips that we are seeing are really a buying opportunity. The same applies for Reliance Comm so I do not think the telecom sector is going to under perform. These small movements against the market or out performing the market these will continue. Currently they are under performing but it is likely to be a very short-term phenomena."
