A Dinamalar news editor B. Lenin has been arrested. Bhuvaneshwari, a Kollywood actress was held on account of prostitutionand B. Lenin published an article against her. The article ruined Bhuvaneshwari’s image and defamed many other Tamil actors. The FIR against B. Lenin was registered with CCB therefore, the police took action.
In an Indian estate of Chennai, the CID’s crime branch local police arrested a news editor whose name is reported B. Lenin, during a dramatic raid at a Tamil daily ‘Dina Malar’ (i.e. Daily Malar) premises, on Wednesday 8th October, 2009. The Commissioner of the Police T. Rajendran, informed that B. Lenin’s arrest was based on a registered FIR with CCB against the editor, under section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Women Harassment (prevention) Act. And the reason behind the FIR is reported to be a complaint lodged by Radha Ravi, South India Film Artistes Association’s general secretary.
According to the details, very recently a ‘Kollywood’ actress named Bhuvaneshwari was arrested by the local police on the charges of prostitution and was sent to jail. While she was behind the bars, the Dinamalar publisher B. Lenin published a very controversial article that not only caused more embarrassment and defamed the actress, but also aroused a wave of rage and anger among several Tamil actors whom B. Lenin had targeted in the article, simultaneously by publishing their pictures as well.
