HYDERABAD: The Progressive Democratic Students Union has given a call for bandh of educational institutions in the Telangana region protesting the indiscriminate lathicharge on the Osmania University students today.Condemning the lathicharge, the PDSU State general secretary J L Gautam Prasad said that the Government should immediately put a halt to the barbaric attacks on people’s agitations.The Government should pave way for the formation of separate Telangana, he demanded.Meanwhile, the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist-New Democracy) extended its support to tomorrow’s bandh call given by Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) protesting the arrest of its leaders who proposed to go on an indefinite fast at Siddipet.The party State secretary R Subash Chandra Bose demanded the Government to announce the formation of separate Telangana immediately.
