Subhash Ghai bags ‘Special Distinguished Award’

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai was honored with a special award for his contribution to the Indian Cinema at the Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) 2011 in Mumbai.
Ghai received the ‘Special Distinguished Award’ in recognition of setting up a world class film and multimedia institute in Mumbai - Whistling Woods International (WWI) -along with his remarkable career as a writer, director and producer who gave the industry some of the biggest blockbusters of all time.
