A campus romcom affair that takes the film maker back to 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' days of bubble gum affairs, 'Student of the Year' also marks the launch-pad of Varun Dhawan (son of David Dhawan), Alia Bhatt (daughter of Mahesh Bhatt) and also Siddharth Malhotra.
