When most films and their actors aim at justifying their comedies by terming them as 'situational' or 'classy', Arshad is merrily flaunting his Double Dhamaal for what it is. In his conversation with Joginder Tuteja, Arshad promises that Double Dhamaal is in a genre of it's own and has the kind of banana peel humour that would not just make it appear as a kids' outing but also turn it into the kind that would appeal to adults alike.

The Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University, first of its kind in the entire North East and fourteenth amongst the Open universities in India was established by the Assam Legislative Assembly by an Act (XXXVII of 2005) in 1995. The Act received the assent from the Governor on 7th September, 2005. The University formally started functioning from December 11, 2006 after Professor Srinath Baruah, Professor in Economics, Gauhati University assumed office as its First Vice-Chancellor. Subsequently, the University declared July 20th, the birth day of Krishna Kanta Handiqui after whom the University was named, as its Foundation Day.

Adam lambert and Glee Star Supports Gay Marriage

Darren Criss, who plays and proud of Glee Anderson, Blaine Fox Music, and singer Adam Lambert, on Friday welcomed the distance to the gay marriage law in New York. New York City on Friday evening, the Senate adopted the law prohibited the marriage, the governor, Andrew Cuomo, four Republicans joined all but one vote in the Democratic measure. The majority of the Assembly approved the measure last week. Last-minute changes, ranging from religion to protect, and Bill has helped win more than two undecided Republicans in the Senate. Upon receipt of the bill passes the Senate for developers, who were lined up day began to chant, “USA! USA! USA!”.

Prem Chopra to receive the Mother Teresa Award

He played the evil anti-hero in Bollywood for decades but Prem Chopra is a gentleman off screen and the veteran will be honoured with the Mother Teresa Award for his humanitarian work and five-decade-long career.
The 76-year-old who is still winning rave reviews for his film roles, said that he is humbled at being chosen for an award whose previous recipients include Rajeev Gandhi and the Dalai Lama.

AEGIS BMD test successful!

This marked the Aegis BMD system's first engagement against an intermediate range ballistic missile, as well as the first time the system used a launch-on-remote capability, which allows the Aegis BMD system to employ remote sensors to detect threats as early in flight as possible.The Aegis BMD system fired a Standard Missile using real-time information from a remote sensor prior to the shipboard SPY-1 radar acquiring the inbound ballistic missile.

Delay in MTech exams worries CIPET

Students of two-year MTech course with the city-based Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology (CIPET), who had taken admission in the course in 2009, have appeared in only the 1st semester exam so far.

The students alleged inordinate delay in conducting examination by the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) is going to spoil their career. "If all examinations would have been conducted in the right time, we would have completed the course in 2011. But unfortunately, due to the negligence of BPUT authorities we have only completed the 1st semester in the past two years. Our career is at stake," said an MTech student in plastic engineering.

Arun Kumar's directorial debut Cocktail is a scene-by-scene adaptation of Butterfly on a Wheel; a Canadian thriller directed by Mike Barker in 2007. The makers of Cocktail have obviously been a bit too stirred by the Pierce Brosnan starrer, and hence do not attempt to make too many diversions from the chill points that the original screenplay had.

It's another ordinary day in the life of Ravi Abraham (Anoop Menon), successful architect and his wife Parvathy (Samvrutha), until their daughter is kidnapped and a stranger Venkatesh (Jayasurya) threatens to topple everything that they hold dear to. In the course of the next several hours, the couple is assigned a series of daunting tasks which would ruin their very existence.

After “Aarakshan” and “Race 2″, Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan will work together again for the latter’s home production tentatively titled “Cocktail”.“Deepika and I are doing three movies together this year. It’s not something we planned but it so happened. So now we have to make an effort to look different and act differently in each movie, which is a challenge and interesting in itself,” Saif told reporters Monday.

BPUT Results 2011 - BTech BPharm Exam Result

The Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) was created by an act of the Orissa state legislature. Almost all the engineering, pharmacy, architecture and most of the colleges offering MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Pharma degree programmes are either constituent or affiliated colleges of BPUT.

Today, the university has 156 colleges, both constituent and affiliated, with around 1,20,000 students. The disciplines include engineering and architecture, business management and hotel management, computer studies and pharmacy.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's former boyfriend Salman Khan congratulated her and her hubby Abhishek Bachchan as they were expecting their first child.

'I would like to congratulate Mr. Bachchan that he is going to become a grandfather and also Abhishek and Aishwarya. I hope they make a whole football team,' Salman told reporters here at an event to launch a Blackberry application.In 1999, Aishwarya began dating Salman and their relationship was often reported in the media until the couple separated in 2001. Aishwarya married Abhishek April 20, 2007.

The former name of Rajiv Gandhi University is Arunachal University and it is the leading university for higher education in Arunachal Pradesh and it has completed 26 years of successful existence. The university was inaugurated by the Late Prime Minister of India Smt. Indira Gandhi on the 4th of February 1984. Right from its formation, the university has been trying to attain excellence and achieving the goals as set in the University Act. The UGC recognized the university on 28th of March 1985 and again it got financial acknowledgement from University Grants Commission on the 25th of March 1994.
