Multinational automobile major BMW sells their highest in March over here in India and this comes as a major boost for other multinational motor companies. This German luxury carmaker nearly sold 1,027 units in March alone. They have also added that they are about to decide whether they should be increasing the car output from their Chennai plant. BMW India President Andreas Schaaf said, "There is a lot of demand for luxury cars in India and I am not surprised by our March sales. I am expecting another good sales in April as well.”In March alone, BMW sold about 1,027 units, which is 69.75% high from their earlier sales record. They had sold about 605 units in this same month previously.Interestingly, their earlier best ever monthly sales over here in India was when they sold about 901 cars in December 2010. Thus, through this new record, they can surely expect more customers buying their cars.
