IDBI Bank recruiting 2,000 personnel
Hyderabad, March 11 IDBI Bank Ltd will be recruiting 2,000 personnel in the supervisory cadre over the next six months to support its expansion programme.
“We have got licence from Reserve Bank of India to open 200 branches. The recruitment programme is aimed at securing the manpower to do so,” Mr Yogesh Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director, IDBI Bank Ltd, told newspersons here on Wednesday.
At present, the bank has 500 branches.
IDBI is likely to raise capital to support the expansion. “We are talking to the Government on this issue,” he said.
The Capital to Risk-weighted Assets Ratio (CRAR) of the bank is now at 12 per cent.
