Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi Launches War Against Corruption

The Congress chief Sonia Gandhi on Sunday announced a two-pronged war against fundamentalism and corruption and directed ministers to take serious actions against the people involved.

The recent scams including the 2G spectrum allocation and Adarsh housing society scam has raised questions on Congress party and government’s credibility that forced the Congress chief to come forward and take the necessary actions.

"The Congress party makes no distinction between organisations of the majority and of the minority communities who indulge in communalism and related acts of terrorism. They are all dangerous, they must all be defeated," Gandhi said.
